Jack Galloway

Hello, my name is Jack Galloway. I am from Louisville, KY, but I have spent the last two years as a student at Western Kentucky University. Here at Western I have really enjoyed studying sustainable business while spending my free time with my brothers in Phi Gamma Delta.

I first heard about Bike4Alz at the end of my freshman year. I remember first hearing stories of the treacherous journey across the United States and thinking to myself, “wow, I don’t think I could ever do that.” But as I heard more about what these men were riding for, I quickly changed my mind. After all, currently, more than 5.8 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, with that number expected to triple in the next 40 years. I want to do what I can to help in this fight against Alzheimer’s. I am doing this for my great Aunt Pat, who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I hate to see how this has affected her life and the life of our family who surrounds her.

As we begin preparing for this journey, I ask for everyone to lift us up with their thoughts and prayers. I am beyond grateful for this opportunity and more than excited to embark on this adventure with my brothers. #EndAlz
