Luke Howard

Hello everyone! My name is Luke Howard and I am a sophomore at WKU studying Business Finance. I was born and raised in Bowling Green, KY. I am excited to be a part of Team 11 as an event planner!

I have known about Bike4Alz since my oldest brother, Jacob, rode with Team 7. Last year my other brother Will was a member of Team 10. The Howard brothers are the first trio of brothers to take part in the journey. Applying for Bike4Alz was an easy choice after hearing how both brothers enjoyed their rides. I am blessed to be presented with this once in a lifetime opportunity.

I am thrilled to spend the summer with my friends while contributing to research of a disease that affects so many worldwide. I have not been personally impacted by Alzheimer’s, but I recognize the effect it has had on friends and family of mine. Knowing that this disease has hurt those that I care about makes it personal. I am riding this summer for not only those previously affected by Alzheimer’s, but those who will inevitably encounter it in the future.
